François Vergne assists and advises the general management, legal department and human resources department of French and international groups on their employment issues in France and the European Union. He advises on complex transactions, including restructuring and outsourcing operations, redundancy plans, negotiation of collective statutes, setting up company pension schemes or employee savings plans, remuneration and the status of managers.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from the University of Paris II, a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in English and American business law from the University of Paris I and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (Fulbright Foundation scholarship). He is also a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Public Service Section).

He is a founding member of AVOSIAL and a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is regularly listed as one of France’s leading employment and labour lawyers in the major international guides (Chambers Global, Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal).
